Q: How Supresion was formed?
Q: Bagaimana Supresion terbentuk?

A: la banda esta formada por dos miembros fijos, guitarra y vos (lucasaravena), coros y batería (Ernesto Guajardo), no tenemos un bajista fijo en la banda, tenemos bajista cesionista para presentaciones en vivo.

A: The band is formed by two members. Lucas Aravena on guitar and voice, and Ernesto Guajardo on drums and backing vocals. We don’t have a bass player in the band but we have a session musician for live presentations. 

A: Band ini dibentuk oleh dua anggota. Lucas Aravena pada gitar dan vokal, dan Ernesto Guajardo pada drum dan backing vokal. Kami tidak memiliki pemain bass di band tapi kami memakai musisi tambahan untuk live.

Q: Why did you choose Supresion as the band's name?
Q: Kenapa memilih Supresion untuk nama band? 

A: Supresión tiene un significado muy importante “ intento consiente de desechar las ideas o pensamientos amenazantes de la cabeza” es muy importante cuidar la manera de pensar, somos lo que pensamos, debe cambiar nuestra manera d pensar para que cambie nuestra manera de vivir, tenemos que tener mucho cuidado de las cosas que entran en nuestra cabeza.
A: Supresion has a meaning very important: “conscious attempt to discard the ideas or thoughts threatening on the head”. For us is very important take care our way of thought. We are what we thought. We must to change our way of thinking so in that way we are going to change our way of living. We have to be carefull about the things that enters in our mind.

A: Supresion memiliki arti yang sangat penting: "Upaya sadar untuk membuang ide atau pemikiran mengancam di kepala". Bagi kami sangat penting merawat cara kita berpikir. Kita adalah apa yang kita pikir. Kita harus mengubah cara berpikir kita sehingga dengan cara itu kita akan mengubah cara hidup kita. Kita harus hati-hati tentang hal-hal yang masuk dalam pikiran kita.

Q: What the purpose of forming this band?
Q: Apa tujuan membentuk band ini?

A: La meta es poder transmitir un mensaje a través de nuestra música, predicar y defender el evangelio, despertar conciencia.
A: The goal is have the opportunity to send a message through our music. Preach and defend the gospel. Raising conscience.

A: Tujuannya adalah memiliki kesempatan untuk mengirim pesan melalui musik kami. Memberitakan dan membela Injil. Meningkatkan hati nurani.

Q: Do you guys have a testimony with Christ in your life?
Q: Apa kalian mempunyai kesaksian bersama Kristus?

A: mi historia no es muy complicada, básicamente naci en una familia cristiana, abuelos y padres cristianos, conocí el evangelio de chico y tuve un encuentro con Jesusen la adolescencia, la historia de Ernesto si es mas interesante ya que el ingreso a la banda sin ser creyente y se convirtió en una de las giras que hicimos en el año 2009, a partir de ahí se bautizo y congregamos hasta le dia de hoy en la iglesia bautista de nuestra ciudad.

A: My history is not very complicated. Basically I was born in a Christian family. I met the gospel since I was child and I had an encounter with Jesus in my teenager years. The history of Ernesto is more interesting because he enter in the band being a unbeliever and he torn on Jesus in one of our tours in 2009. Since that moment he took the christening and today we congregating at the Baptist Church of our city. 
A: Riwayat saya tidak terlalu rumit. Pada dasarnya saya lahir dalam keluarga Kristen. Saya mengenal Injil sejak aku masih kecil dan saya telah bertemu dengan Yesus di masa remaja saya. Sejarah Ernesto lebih menarik karena ia masuk dalam band menjadi tidak percaya dan dia robek Yesus dalam salah satu tour kami pada tahun 2009. Sejak saat itu ia mengambil pembaptisan dan hari ini kita berkumpul di Gereja Baptis dari kota kami.

Q: What you think about the church that blessing the gay and lesbian marriage?

Q: Apa pendapatmu tentang gereja yang memberkati pernikahan LGBT?

A: es muestra de que cada vez falta menos para la venida del señor, esta escrito que seria asi y aun cosas peores vendrán, lamentablemente hay iglesias que están perdiendo la sana doctrina enredándose en cosas terribles, bíblicamente el matrimonio es entre hombre y mujer siendo así algo objetivo fuera de discusión.

A: Is a sign for the coming of our Lord. It’s written and that’s how will be. Even worst things will come. Sadly there are churchs that are losing the good doctrine and are tangling in terrible things. Biblically the marriage is between the man and the woman, and that’s it. It’s out of discussion. 

A: Apakah tanda untuk kedatangan Tuhan kita. Ini ditulis dan itulah bagaimana akan terjadi. Bahkan hal-hal terburuk akan datang. Sayangnya ada gereja yang kehilangan doktrin yang baik dan kekusutan dalam hal-hal yang mengerikan. Pernikahan dalam alkitab adalah antara pria dan wanita, dan hanya itu. Itu keluar dari pembahasan.


Q: What do you think about Indonesia?
Q: Apa pendapat kalian tentang Indonesia?

A: De indonesia conocemos muy poco, sabemos que se escucha mucho metal extremo y hay una escena subterránea con bastante movimiento en cuanto a fanzines, bandas y sellos discográficos que editan tapes y vinilos.

A: About Indonesia we know just a couple of things. We know that the extreme metal is really big and there is a subway scene with a lot of movement, about fanzines, bands and label’s that publish vinyls. 

A: Tentang Indonesia kita tahu hanya beberapa hal. Kita tahu bahwa extreme metal benar-benar besar dan ada subway scene dengan banyak gerakan, sekitar fanzines, band dan label yang mempublikasikan vinyls.

Q: Would you like to have a gig in Indonesia?
Q: Apa kalian ingin bermain di Indonesia?

A: Realmente seria muy bueno poder estar en Indonesia! Quien sabe Dios mediante podremos visitarlos el próximo año!

A: It would be really good if we can go to in Indonesia! Who knows? With God in the middle maybe we can visit next year!

A: Ini akan sangat seru jika kita bisa pergi ke di Indonesia! Siapa yang tahu? Dengan Tuhan di tengah mungkin kita bisa mengunjungi tahun depan!

Q: What do you guys think about the radical terrorist acts by ISIS and others?
Q: Apa pendapat kalian tentang pergerakan radikal teroris oleh ISIS dan yang lainnya?

A: Bueno es un tema complicado, cada día mas crece el terrorismo, cada dia son mas los muertos, son tiempos muy violentos los que estamos viviendo, lo mas importante es poder amar a esas personas, orar por ellos para que conozcan a Jesus, orar por nuestros hermanos en medio oriente y los que se encuentran en los campos como refugiados. 

A: Well, that’s a complicated situation. Every day grows more and more the terrorism and every day are more death’s. This are times really violent. The most important thing is to love those persons, pray for them to meet Jesus, pray for our brothers in Middle East and for those who are in the fields like refugees. 
A: Nah, itu situasi yang rumit. Setiap hari tumbuh lebih dan lebih banyak terorisme dan setiap hari banyak kematian. Ini adalah waktu penuh dengan kekerasan. Yang paling penting adalah untuk mencintai orang-orang, berdoa bagi mereka untuk bertemu Yesus, berdoa untuk saudara-saudara kita di Timur Tengah dan bagi mereka yang berada di medan-medan perang seperti pengungsi.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
Q: Apa rencana kalian kedepan?

A: los planes son recorrer hasta lo ultimo de la tierra, cumplir con nuestro destino, a corto plazo la idea es Dios mediante grabar el segundo álbum de estudio.

A: The plans are go to the ends of the earth, carry out our destiny… And the idea is also record a second studio album. 

A: Rencananya pergi ke ujung bumi, melaksanakan tujuan kita ... Dan ada ide juga untuk merekam album studio kedua.

Q: Please tell us about your last album Emerging Extermination about?

Q: Tolong ceritakan tentang album kalian "Emerging Extermination"?

A: bueno es un álbum que no tiene una línea temática, básicamente tratamos desde problemas ambientales, guerra espiritual, evangelismo y algunas otras cosas bíblicas…

A: Is an album that don’t have a thematic line. Basically we attend subjects like environment problems, spiritual problems, gospel and other biblical stuff’s. 
A: Apakah sebuah album yang tidak memiliki garis tematik. Pada dasarnya kita menghadiri pelajaran seperti masalah lingkungan, masalah spiritual, Injil dan tentang Alkitab lainnya.
